Before Gener8Media was created, we were shooting weddings and have continued to do so since 2006.  Our wedding business was formerly known as Emotiva Photo & Video. For twelve years we were running Emotiva and Gener8Media alongside each other but under separate entities.  

 

At the end of 2023 we decided that it would be more streamlined to combine both businesses, and so we have integrated Emotiva Photo & Video within our Gener8Media brand. Nothing has changed, except the name.

 

We still continue to shoot weddings and absolutely adore being part of something so magical. We believe we have the perfect balance, shooting corporate gigs during the week and being immersed into a couple’s wedding day at the weekend. Shooting such a variety of content is what keeps us on our toes, keeps us keen and always brings those fuzzy feels -  Brendan will still find Jenna crying her eyes out in the edit suite whilst she is watching the vows and speeches from the day (no lie!).

 

After almost two decades with over 1000 weddings under our belt, our crew are overflowing with experience in weddings.  We work as a fluid team without influencing proceedings, simply observing and recording moments as they happen. A recent quote from one of our brides...
